Mark Richey

Mark RicheyMark R. Richey is a Managing Director of Draper Triangle. Mark is a successful entrepreneur with extensive experience in creating and managing early stage companies. Prior to joining Draper Triangle, Mark had been involved in many entrepreneurial ventures. Most recently he was part of the PlanSoft management team that successfully merged with seeUthere in 2004 creating OnVantage.

Mark also founded Synchrony Communications in 1997, raising $40 million in VC funding. He grew the company to a size of more than 130 employees in four cities serving over 80 customers.

Previously, Mark worked with Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories and Siebel Systems in the Silicon Valley, from early stage through post-IPO. He also was one of the early employees of Gain Technology, an early 90s technology pioneer in Silicon Valley that merged with Sybase.

Mark is a past member of the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee (Technology Chairman) of the Greater Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce, the Business Advisory Council of Miami University's Richard T. Farmer School of Business Administration, a founding board member of Main Street Ventures, and Co-Chair of the Capital Formation Committee of the Cincinnati Regional Technology Initiative. He currently serves on the board of CH Mack, Cincinnati Children's Hospital Technology Validation Advisory Board and the advisory boards of CincyTech and TechColumbus.

Mark earned a Bachelor of Science in Systems Analysis from Miami University, and an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School at Northwestern University.
