BodyMedia Joins CERMUSA for Rural Diabetes Program

BodyMedia, Inc. and Saint Francis University's Center of Excellence for Remote and Medically Underserved Areas (CERMUSA) are collaborating on a project to improve rural medicine by allowing caregivers to remotely monitor patients with diabetes and obesity using BodyMedia's wearable body monitors. CEO Astro Teller says the project itself is very important, "but this work will also translate into similar applications for a range of other disease and condition managment markets."
