Cognitive Tutor® Upgraded for 2006

April 19, 2006

Carnegie Learning has enhanced Cognitive Tutor and has released the 2006 versions of Algebra I, Geometry and Algebra II curricula.  The new Bridge to Algebra curriculum, released in February, is also developed on the new2006 platform.  The 2006 release enhances the usability of the software by incoporating an updated user interface, online user assistance, updated Teacher's Toolkit including additional reports, a new Look Ahead/Look Back section, a glossary, new units of instruction and re-sequencing of software units.  This is the first major upgrade in three years, and evolves from classroom and lab data, and from new findings in cognitive psychology. Current customers will receive upgraded software and discounts on new texts as part of their annual SchoolCare renewal.
