Green River Regional Educational Cooperative Partners with Carnegie Learning

Kentucky's Green River Regional Educational Cooperative has purchased Carnegie Learning's Professional Development services for the 2006/2007 school year. The two courses, Developing Mathematical Understanding for grades K-3, and Developing Algebraic Thinking for grades 4-8, elevate the quality and effecitveness of math instruction by helping instructors to teach the way research indicates that students actually learn. Carnegie Learning's Professional Development will be extended to 160 K-8th grade math teachers in 31 Kentucky districts. The purchase is made with funding from the Commonwalth's Department of Education.
