McPherson Moves to CFO at Imago
Barbara McPherson has been appointed to the position of Chief Financial Officer of Imago Scientific Instruments.  McPherson has been the company's Vice President Finance and Administration since 2005.  Prior to that, she served with AKG Financial Consulting, and was CFO for Horn Group. TOA Technologies Provides Solutions for Scheduling

Carnegie Learning Wins in Alaska
Carnegie Learning's Bridge to Algebra software will be used as the core instructional curricula for the statewide training of middle school and secondary math teachers in the State of Alaska. The UAS/Carnegie Rural Alaska Math Teacher Development Program, a partnerhsip among Carnegie Learning, the University of Alaska Southeast's (UAS) School of Education, and seven school districts across the state, was designed to provide training to teachers who are not certified as Highly Qualified in math, with the goal of increasing the math achievement of their students. Plextronics Receives $750K from SEF
Plextronics has received $750,000 in funding from the Sustainable Energy Fund (SEF) of Central Eastern Pennsylvania to further the development of Plexcore PV technology for organic solar cells.  Plexcore PV technology is paving the way for the commercialization of organic solar cells as a leading source of renewable energy.  Pennsylvania has one of the nation's most progressive alternative energy portfolio standards; it states that by 2020, 18% of all retail energy must come from clean, efficient and advanced resources. Carnegie Learning Receives CLRN Approval
Carnegie Learning's Bridge to Algebra curricula has been successfully reviewed and approved by the California Learning Resource Network (CLRN) for legal and social content compliance as well as standards alignment.  CLRN is one of three state educational technology services in California and provides educators with a "one-stop" resource for critical information needed for the selection of supplemental electronic learning resources aligned to the California State Board of Education academic content standards.
