BodyMedia Makes Executive Changes

To fully realize the transition from an entrepreneurial technical orientation to a focused commercialization company, BodyMedia has developed a new management structure. Former Chief Executive Officer of BodyMedia, Dr. Astro Teller, will take on the role of Chairman and Chief Research and Strategy Officer and turn the CEO role over to Fernando Sanchez. Mr. Sanchez brings a mix of classic business management expertise, plus the entrepreneurial spirit embraced at BodyMedia. Prior to joining BodyMedia, Mr. Sanchez was Senior Vice President of ArthroCare, and has over 25 years of experience in business leadership of both public and private enterprises.
