Plextronics Receives $750K from SEF

Plextronics has received $750,000 in funding from the Sustainable Energy Fund (SEF) of Central Eastern Pennsylvania to further the development of Plexcore PV technology for organic solar cells.  Plexcore PV technology is paving the way for the commercialization of organic solar cells as a leading source of renewable energy.  Pennsylvania has one of the nation's most progressive alternative energy portfolio standards; it states that by 2020, 18% of all retail energy must come from clean, efficient and advanced resources.
