Governor Vilsack Joins Carnegie Learning Board

Former Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack is the newest member of the Carnegie Learning Board of Directors.  Mark Kamlet, Chairman of the Board, said "Governor Vilsack was a vocal proponent of education reform long before the issue grew to a national concern. He understands the issues and what's at stake for our children, our families, and our economy." During Vilsack's two terms as Governor, more Iowans finished highschool and Iowa students ranked second in the country in average SAT scores and third in ACT scores.  Read more at www.carnegielearning.com.
