Hamilton County Expands Carnegie Learning Program

Hamilton County Tennessee School District has purchased additional Carnegie Learning curricula for the upcoming 2007-2008 school year. Originally purchased in 2001 with the Algebra I program serving as a pilot curriculum for three schools, the Carnegie Learning programs have expanded to include all 8th and 9th grade Algebra I classes in the district, the Bridge to Algebra in several schools, and the Geometry and Algebra II curricula in all Hamilton County Schools. The recent purchase totaled $400,000.
