Whitley County, KY Purchases Carnegie Learning Program

Whitley County School System in southeast Kentucky is adopting Carnegie Learning's Bridge to Algebra and Geometry programs to help improve math scores and graduation rates in the county. The $95,000 purchase was made with Federal Title I funds. Some Whitley County students are already using the Algebra I program as part of the nationwide study conducted by the RAND Corporation and funded by the US Department of Education, assessing the effectiveness of Carnegie Learning's Algebra I programs.
