Unitask Expands Leadership Team
Unitask has expanded its leadership team with the addition of Brad Ferguson as Director of Business Development and Terrah Kocher as Director of Marketing.  Ferguson joins the company having served as Director of Business Development for Continuent Software, and in leadership positions with Sistina (a Red Hat company) and Oracle Corporation. Aethon Raises $14 Million
Aethon recently closed on a successful $14 million financing round led by two new investors, Nexus Medical Partners and Radius Ventures and supported by existing VC groups Draper Triangle, Trident Capital, Pacific Venture Group, Salix Ventures and Ascension Health Ventures. This funding supports Aethon's goal of continued business growth, accelerated sales, and intensified research and development efforts on new products and product extensions.  The two new investing partners were strategically selected by Aethon.  Nexus was chosen for its potential to help Aethon expand into the European market; and Radius Ventures brings a roster of proven healthcare industry executives and experts who can contribute to Aethon's expansion. Carnegie Learning's RTI Adopted by Schools in Texas, Georgia

Carnegie Learning's Adaptive Math Solutions have been adopted by Bartow County Schools in Georgia and Del Valle Indpendent School District in Texas as a Response to Intervention (RTI) program for students likely to struggle with the transition from middle school to high school mathematics.  Carnegie Learning's sales of RTI programs are growing across the country as states mandate higher-level math requirements.  In Bartow County Scools, the District used state grant funding to purchase Carnegie Learning's Integrated Math 1 software for middle schools this fall; while Del Valle is implementing the company's Bridge to Algebra and Algebra I Adaptive Math Solutions at the high school level.
