TOA Included in Gartner's Annual Hype Cycle Report
TOA Techologies has been included as a sample vendor in the recently released Gartner "Hype Cycle for CRM Customer Service and Field Service, 2009" report. Hype cycles are graphical representations of the relative maturity of technologies, IT methodologies and management disciplines. TOA is included as a sample vendor in the Field Service Workforce Optimization and Field Service Management categories. Carnegie Learning Partners with Georgia School for Curricula Development
Carnegie Learning is developing a new middle school Georgia math sequence in partnership with the Richmond County School System in Augusta. The three-year math program will include student textbooks, teacher materials and professional development programs, and will be implemented in the Richmond County School System in the 2010-2011 school year. The new curricula will emphasize a deeper conceptual knowledge of math based on problem solving, reasoning, the use of multiple representations and making real-world connections to the concepts. TOA and Harris Survey Finds High Consumer Cost of Waiting
Early this summer, TOA Technologies partnered with Harris Interactive to conduct a national consumer survey measuring the economic impact of long appointment wait windows on consumers and companies. More than 2,000 Americans were surveyed nationwide and the results showed that both the consumers and the service providers incur significant costs when wait times are long. Consumers report taking vacation, sick days or lost wages when waiting for service calls or deliveries. Dothan City Schools Purchase Carnegie Learning Math Curricula
Dothan City Schools in Alabama purchased Carnegie Learning Bridge to Algebra and Algebra I Math Curricula Solutions for implementation this fall for nearly 1200 students in the District's four middle schools. The purchase was made with special allocation funds from the city of Dothan. The curricula will be used as a Response to Intervention solution in two middle schools and as a math acceleration program in two middle school magnet programs.
