Carnegie Learning Partners with Georgia School for Curricula Development
September 15, 2009
Carnegie Learning is developing a new middle school Georgia math sequence in partnership with the Richmond County School System in Augusta. The three-year math program will include student textbooks, teacher materials and professional development programs, and will be implemented in the Richmond County School System in the 2010-2011 school year. The new curricula will emphasize a deeper conceptual knowledge of math based on problem solving, reasoning, the use of multiple representations and making real-world connections to the concepts.
