Chemosensitivity/Resistance Assay Included As Part of the NCCN Principles of Chemotherapy
Precision Therapeutics announced that The National Comprehensive Cancer Network(R) (NCCN) recently updated the NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines for Oncology (NCCN Guidelines) for Ovarian Cancer Including Fallopian Tube Cancer and Primary Peritoneal Cancer to include the use of chemosensitivity/resistance assays as part of the Principles of Chemotherapy section. WV Teachers to Attend Carnegie Learning Math Academy
Teachers from Kanawha County School District, near Charleston, will participate in five days of intensive math content training delivered by Carnegie Learning. The program is part of Kanawha County Schools' 2010 professional development objective to help prepare students for high school mathematics. In addition to the five days of instruction, Carnegie Learning will deliver 40 days of In-Classroom Support following the course, providing one-on-one instruction to help teachers transfer instructional practices from the academy to the classroom.
