Carnegie Learning Hosts National Math Institute for Educators
Carnegie Learning will host the Carnegie Learning National Math Institute, an intensive three-day professional development institute focused on raising middle school and high school student achievement in math. Attendance is limited but open to all Carnegie Learning teachers, leaders and administrators, as well as educators interested in learning more about a research-based, student-centered approach to middle school and secondary mathematics instruction. Precision to Launch Genomics Product

Precision Therapeutics is planning to launch a "genomics" product in 2011.  Exciting news from a company that filed a $34 million Series D fund-raise just last week. Other than saying that all of the company's products will be geared toward more effective treatment for cancer, CEO Sean McDonald offered few details. Carnegie Learning Named School Improvement Partner for WVa
The state of West Virginia has selected Carnegie Learning as a comprehensive school improvement partner to help the state turn around underperforming schools. Twenty-seven schools in West Virginia are eligible to apply for a share of the state's $22 million in School Improvement funds.  Districts receiving School Improvement funds agree to make significant changes to the school structure and school day. Carnegie Learning is an approved School Improvement Grant partner in the state of Hawaii and is working as a School Improvement partner in districts in Washington and Indiana. Study Suggests ChemoFx-Assisted Chemo Reduces Costs
A study published in the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology (AJOG) demonstrated the cost savings realized through the use of the ChemoFx Drug Response Marker from Precision Therapeutics for assisting selection of treatment in recurrent ovarian cancer.
