Carnegie Learning Aligns with CCSS for Math
August 3, 2010
Carnegie Learning textbooks, Cognitive Tutor Software and professional development are aligned to the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) for Mathematics. CCSS provides consistent understanding of what K-12 students are expected to learn in English/Language Arts and mathematics. The CCSS are designed to address disparate standards across states, student mobility, global competition, and the changing skills required in the 21st century workplace. The company has also been granted approval status to be an external service provider under the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act School Improvement Grants (SIG) by the Michican Department of Education.
