TOA Adds Former Oracle Exec in Top Sales Post
Bruce Grainger, former head of Oracle's Communication Global Business Unit (CGBU) for the Americas, has joined TOA Technologies as its Senior Vice President, Americas. Houston School District Partners With Carnegie Learning
Houston Independent School District (ISD) used funds from a $1.9 million Texas Education Agency grant to purchase Carnegie Learning's Cognitive Tutor Bridge to Algebra software for 4500 middle school students. Goals for the program include increasing teachers' math content knowledge, equipping school leaders to facilitate more effective math instruction and providing targeted intervention to prepare all students for success on state-level Algebra 1 end-of-course assignments.
