Medline Receives Premier Contract for ClearCount Technology
Medline Industries, manufacturer and distributor of healthcare supplies, has signed a three-year national agreement with Premier Purchasing Partners for surgical sponge detection systems, including ClearCount Medical Solutions' SmartSponge and SmartWand-DTX products. The SmartSponge System uniquely identifies each sponge in an operating room so that they can be both easily counted and detected during surgery - making retained surgical sponges a true "Never Event." Aethon Part of Plan at Parkview Regional Medical Center
Aethon's TUG robots have been included in the building design of the Parkview Regional Medical Center. The robots will be used to solve the logistics challenge of covering nearly 1 million square feet in a timely and efficient manner.
