CardioInsight Receives CE Mark, Launches ecVUE in Europe
Having received CE Mark clearance, CardioInsight Technologies has launched its ecVUE System in Europe, and secured its first three clinical customers in England, Germany and France. CardioInsight's patented ecVUE technology gathers electrical information from an electrode "vest" and combines the information with images from a CT scan to produce 3D "electrical maps " of the patient's heart. To date, CardioInsight has completed more than 390 patient studies at leading clinical centers in the United States and Europe across a broad variety of cardiac arrhythmias, as well as CRT for congestive heart failures, demonstrating the unique clinical value of the ecVUE system, the results of which have been published in leading peer-reviewed journals. Waiting for the Cable Guy
An IBOPE Zogby poll conducted on behalf of TOA Technologies found that the time spent waiting for in-home services and appointments cost American workers $37.7 billion in 2011. Nearly three-quarters of the 1,000 respondents perceived the cost of one hour of their time to be worth more than $15/hour, with the average consumer losing close to $250 last year waiting for someone to show up at their home.
