Having just secured $5.5 million in venture capital, The Haley Enterprise announced that it has named Mark Juliano Chief Executive Officer and member of its Board of Directors. Mr. Juliano will work alongside Haley's founder, Paul Haley, who will continue with the firm as Chief Technology Officer, Executive Vice President and a member of the Board.

Cognitive Tutor Dramatically Increases FCAT Scores
An independent study has concluded that with the use of Cognitive Tutor, Algebra I students achieve higher FCAT (Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test) scores than students in other Algebra programs. The study was funded by the Miami-Dade County Public Schools and shows statistically significant gains in scores for all Cognitive Tutor students, especially Exceptional Education Students (ESE) and Limited English Proficiency (LEP) students.
